I always here that paypal gets a really bad reputation. I wondered if anyone here has any experiences they would like to share? I personally have had only good experiences so I wondered what the problem is?

I am using paypal for 4 years now, they have improved a lot now. Initially there where lot of problems like suspending the account and blocking payments etc. Now they have evolved into an user friendly and systematic service providers.. Only problem is they take ages to reply for any queries made..

I have a premium account with them which works great compared to othe rpayment gateways.. Will recommend it to anyone

you can also phone them and they usually answer. The problem comes if someone disputes a transaction, then the ball is really in their court and they can do as they like. Because of the type of transaction it is, credit card companies take nothing to do with paypal transactions. Also, lets not forget that for large amounts of money paypal is a rip off.

yes I agree. The percentage is very high on large transactions.
